In June 2006, he graduated a Massage Therapy program of 555 hours at OSM, completed his National Certification exam, and licensed in the state of Oregon in August 2006, as a Licensed Massage Therapist. He chose this school for their “Body, Mind, Spirit” approach. George began his Massage Therapy studies in June 2004, at Oregon School of Massage (OSM) in Portland, Oregon. A few years later, my cousin finished school for Massage Therapy in Canada, and she gave me a massage. After that I would read any books or watch any movies about Massage Therapy I could get my hands on. After the Therapist was done she motioned for me to come out of the room with her, and she described that my friend needed to rest a little after the treatment. I was just blown away by how relaxing it was, my friend actually fell asleep. My friend said it was okay if I sat in with her during her session. I knew about Massage, and I was interested by it. I went with her to one of her appointments out of curiosity. She was seeing a Chiropractor regularly, and they suggested she start getting Massage as well. A friend of mine was in a terrible car accident that affected her back. My first experiences with Massage Therapy was when I was 14 years old.
